Mechanical Assembly Engineer
Job Requirement
- Knowledge of mechanical components, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with SPM, assembly and testing.
- Strong understanding of design (drawings), GD&T and mechanical engineering principles.
- Knowledge of specialised machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Electrical, Programming).
- Conducts preliminary trials to check the functioning of various control systems.
- Identifies areas for optimisation or standardisation in fluid controls, jigs and fixtures.
- Understanding of ergonomics.
- Communication with stakeholders.
